There’s something about hiking that feels sacred to me. The further I walk into nature, the more I realize that creation reflects divine truth. Nature does not rush. It does not question its purpose. The trees sway without explanation, the rivers flow unashamedly, and the grass rises each morning to meet the sun. In these moments, I understand why Jesus spent so much of His ministry on boats, in fields, and walking through the wilderness. The energy in nature can heal our minds, bodies, and souls—infusing us with new strength.
And strength is precisely what I need in this season.
Entering a 'Yes' season, I was unprepared for its overwhelming glory. In the past, during seasons of struggle, I had learned to survive—uprooting, planting, and waiting. But this season is different. It's a beautiful roughness. Doors and opportunities are opening, yet I find myself battling imposter syndrome. I step into leadership roles but hesitate, wanting to shrink into the background. I constantly re-evaluate my purpose in every room I enter.
But growth is not meant to be comfortable.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is to trust in the divine timing of my connections. God has placed people in my life who sharpen me, challenge me, and pour into me in unexpected ways. Some friends have walked beside me for years, while others have come for a season, their purpose fulfilled. I hold no bitterness for those who have exited my life—my love has doors. I trust that every connection has divine intention, whether for a moment or a lifetime. This trust in divine timing brings peace and reassurance, knowing everything is unfolding as it should.
I think about Nehemiah. He was a man with a calling. He built his team, gathered his resources, and began rebuilding. But then came two messy men—Sanballat and Tobiah. They had no vision, no purpose—only assumptions. Instead of seeking truth, they spread poison. They allowed their brokenness to fester until it overflowed into their influence.
But Nehemiah did not entertain them. He did not stop to explain himself. He stayed focused on his assignment.
That is the energy I am carrying into this season. I no longer hold space for people who bring only assumptions to the table. I thought I would be offended by their opinions, but instead, I was entertained. Because I know who I am. I know what God has spoken over my life. I trust His provision. I trust the team He is building around me. This self-awareness is my source of empowerment, giving me the strength to stay focused on my path and not be swayed by others’ assumptions. It's a powerful tool that I wield with confidence.
So, I will take my lessons from the trees, the rivers, the wind, and the earth. I will move boldly in my calling without explanation. I will celebrate my reality because it has been handcrafted by my Creator. With all its ups and downs, this celebration of my journey is not just a personal victory, but an inspiration that motivates me to continue moving forward. It's a reminder that every step, every challenge, is part of a beautifully designed journey.
I am confident that He who began good work in me will faithfully complete it (Phil 1:6). The finished work will silence every assumption, heal every wound, and bring divine alignment in perfect time.
So, Divine Queen, I encourage you—take a walk outside. Step into nature, not just for fresh air, but for revelation. Listen to the waves as it crashes unashamedly against the sands of the beach. Watch how the trees stand firm yet sway when the wind moves them. Notice how the rivers carve new paths without resistance. Feel the sun’s warmth, reminding you that light will always find you, even after the darkest night. Let nature teach you how to be—how to stand in your purpose, flow with grace, and trust the season you’re in. Your journey, like the earth itself, is divinely designed. Walk boldly in it.
